This fortnight the challenge at Lacy Sunshine is to use an image that isn't designed to be used on the project you make.  For example I have used a Halloween image on a birthday card, another example would be a Christmas image on a Valentines card.   Fpor more inspiration be sure to check out the DT cards on the Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog.

Here is my card using Elanor and Pickles Magic Potion.....

I have coloured my image with Copics and used 12x12 papers from kits I used to get.

Flying By With A Birthday Surprise for PCA

Hi I am here with you today to share a birthday card made for my big brother with the uber cute "Lifting Spirits" stamp set from Close To My Heart for Heather at Paper Crafter Anonymous

I have just stamped straight onto white cardstock cut into an A5 card for this one....

I stamped the images with permanent ink and then watercoloured the images with sparkling H2Os which gives the card a lovely shimmer.

I drew in the line between the banner and the plane and also drew the grass in with a black uni pen.

I am loving this stamp set and will be sharing another card made with it next week.

Thanks loads for joining me today

Springing Into Autumn

Well Autumn is officially here for sure, daylight savings has ended, the nights are colder and I am having to wear socks in the morning.  However when I was digging through my Spiegel Mom Scraps stash that Spring feeling certainly hit when I spotted these gorgeous sunny day sequins and spring veneer.

I sprayed the normandy doily with yellow and green spray inks and put aside to dry.  In the mean time I sprayed sparingly my card base with the same sprays plus I added a little of my favourite gold spray, I also added some strips of washi. I then gave the doily a blast with the heat gun to make sure it was dry and then attached it to the card, added my veneer and I stuck down my sequins.
I decided to add the cork chevrons at the top so  I glued them in place and I am calling it done.

I think this turned out really cute and I love the sparkle the sequins add.

Remember when you are ordering from SpiegelMom Scraps to use the discount code Louise10 to receive a 10% discount on your products :)

Thanks loads for visiting me today :)

Lacy Sunshine Shabby Chic Birthday

This fortnight the challenge at LACY SUNSHINE CHALLENGE is steam punk or shabby chic.  I decided to go with Shabby Chic as it is closer to my normal style than steam punk which just scares the daylights out of me ;)

I have used Elanor's Heart Balloons image which I printed on Gina K luxury cardstock and coloured my image with copic markers,

I added some Stampedous Shabby Pink embossing powder around the edges of the image and also to the background papers.  I used some heidi swapp sprays liberally but not spraying them just flicking the end of the sprayer to make droplets.
I have also used a doily and Fairytale Sequin Mix from SpiegelMom Scrap Shop (Remeber to use the code Louise10 for a discount)
I sprayed the doily with the sprays, this time actually spraying, to make it gorgeous and shabby looking then I cut it in half so I could use it in two places on the card.
I then added some flowers from Wild Orchid and used the gold spray to paint the edges.

Thanks so much for joining me today :)
I am entering my card in the following challenges....
