Hi all, a quick post to share a layout of my youngest son with you.  I have created this for The Stamp Spot and I have of course used this months spots, the colour black, satin ribbon and scallops.

Michelle is having a huge clean out in The Stamp Spot at the moment in preparation for exciting things ahead, including new copic stock!

Here is my layout.......

Wasn't he just adorable!!!!!!!!!!!  I think that star stretch and grow was my favourite so I am really glad I got some photos of Will in it.

Thanks loads for looking and don't forget my blog candy.

Southern Girls Challenge & Artfull Crafts Combined post

A double up post today sharing a card made for the SOUTHERN GIRLS CHALLENGE for this fortnight which is Angels & Fairies and also my post for ARTFULL CRAFTS - MY FAV COLOUR COMBO.

I have used "Free Falling Fairy Keisha" from Just some lines who are our sponsor over at Southern Girls for this challenge.
I am currently very smitten with the new basic grey releases, What's Up & Shine On. They both have a gorgeous spring/summer feel and I am definitely feeling like some warmth in my life at the moment. For my card I have used the What's Up paper pad with the lovely pink and blue combo.
I coloured my image with copic markers and highlighted parts of the image with stickles. I also used the following Marianne Creatables dies... Flower & Leaves (L0156), Five Small Flowers (LR0145),Butterfly (LR0113). Thanks loads for coming and checking out my card and I hope you like it.

I am entering my card in the following Challenges.......

Marianne Design Divas - Anything goes
Fab & Funky Challenges - Make your own flowers
Stampin plus challenge - anything goes
Papertake Challenge - All things Girlie

More sewing :)

Hi lovely people :)  I have been sewing again, I think I have definitely found a new passion to add to my crafting endeavours.

I made this dress which you can find the pattern for HERE  It is a Create Kids Couture pattern called Malyn's pretty peasant dress.

And just a heads up.... if you go to fabric.com HERE you can get your hot little hands on a free CKC pattern or 2.  Although if you go to the actual CKC website they have so many GORGEOUS patterns that are perfect for beginners or accomplished sewers I am sure you will leave with your credit card a little lighter :)  They are well worth the little you pay as they are pdf patterns and most go from 18months - size 6 or 8 BARGAIN!  Ok so happy shopping......
Thanks for looking :)

"Stretch Your Stamps" day 2 projects

Today is day 2 of stretch your stamps with Kristina and Jennifer and I am really glad I have signed up.  Even though these are nothing like the cards I usually make I can see myself incorporating the techniques in my image cards as backgrounds, tags etc.

I haven't had time to do yesterdays cards but I have done the following cards for today's techniques...

This one is using the iron off embossing technique and colour blocking.  I used Hero Arts Misty Garden woodblock stamp and Hero Arts - Studio Calico Hey Day Sentiments for the stamping, along with Great Friend from Stampin Up.

For this card I made up a collage background with Hero Arts Misty Garden, a script stamp and the butterfly from SU's Great Friend.  I used the water embossing technique on this card although it hasn't shown up very well in the photo.

Thanks for looking :)

The Stamp Spot - Channelling Jackie Layout

I have a layout to share with you today using this month "CHALLENGE SPOTS"  from THE STAMP SPOT which are......

So here is my layout which I used some fabulous MTF dienamics on

The layout is my daughter wearing my sunnies and being a poser at all of 2 years old :) I seriously wonder about her sometimes, she can be such a girly girl and then next thing be racing her brothers hotwheels cars and wrestling.  Anyway I thought the glasses were reminiscent of the fabulous Jackie Kennedy Onassis so hence the title.  I used a sketch from SKETCHABILITIES  for the layout.

Here is a closeup of one of the flower clusters.  The papers are Graphic 45 and the title was done with cosmo cricket tiny type stickers and AC Thickers.

Thanks loads for looking and I hope you are all having a fabulous weekend.
